The work of the unattainable Genius in a fully accessible museum

Thetwo buildings housing the Leonardo Museum, Palazzina Uzielli and theConti Guidi Castle, are both fullyaccessible for mobility-impaired visitors andare equipped with dedicated facilities.

The exhibition halls in Palazzina Uzielli are all on the ground floor of the building, whereas there is a liftavailable to reach the toilets, classroom and the hall for temporaryexhibitions.
In the Conti Guidi Castle, located a few hundred metres from the first part of the museum route,mobility-impaired visitors can use the dedicatedentrance in piazzaGuido Masi, wherethey can use the lift simply by ringing a bell and showing theirentrance ticket to the museum. 

The Leonardo Museum is in the historic centre of Vinci which is apedestrian area normally only reachable on foot. If necessary, caraccess to the historic centre can be arranged by contacting the VinciTourist Office (phone 0571 933285).

At the Museum are welcome guide dogs for the blind person and small ones as long as they brought in special bags or carriers .
